Newsletter – Q1 2022

29.03.22

Hello and welcome to the first instalment of our new quarterly newsletter, which provides an update on all things Rodgers Leask.

It’s been an exciting start to the year with continued growth helping new starters emerge within the business. In Q1 alone we have welcomed nine new faces across our UK offices.

Our presence in Nottingham also continues to flourish as our city centre office is now home to eight members of staff since opening in September last year.

While the updates within the newsletter reflect on what we have been up to this year so far, we’re also interested in what we may be missing out on and can help you with. To get in touch and explore how we can work together, make sure to email us using rlladmin@rodgersleask.co.uk or call on 01332 285000.

Framework success as we lead consortium onto ESPO

Leading a four-firm consortium featuring project manager and cost consultant Bentley Project Management, architect Whittam Cox and mechanical and electrical engineers CPW, we were recently appointed to the ESPO 2664 Property, Building and Infrastructure Advice and Management Services framework. It provides a great platform for us to facilitate continued growth of our public sector workload and our ambition to support local authorities with regeneration projects.

MIPIM 2022: A chance to engage

With in-person meetings and networking events back on the agenda, we have been taking the opportunity to catch up with fellow industry professionals. Our director Lawrence Pacey took the trip the Cannes earlier this month to attend the world’s leading real estate event, MIPIM. Putting pen to paper ahead of his trip, Lawrence explored why consultancies such as ourselves can particularly benefit from closer collaboration.

Delivering for Derby

After completing pre-planning work for Phase 1 of the Becketwell regeneration scheme in Derby and seeing permission granted in January 2021, it was great to visit the site recently and check in on the great work being delivered by GMI Construction Group on the build-to-rent apartment scheme that will complement the new public square.

We’re looking forward to seeing the project complete in spring 2023, but in the meantime, you can see the latest images and find out more about how we made this development possible online here: https://rodgersleask.com/2022/03/17/becketwell-phase-1-tower-emerges/
