The site of this former car plant in Birmingham is being transformed into a vibrant new development with 350 homes, a million square feet of commercial premises and 27 acres of public realm space around the beautifully restored River Rea.
Geo-environmental engineering
Assisting with the options-appraisal process and carrying out the
land-contamination assessment to ensure a sustainable development. Producing earthworks and remediation specifications. Overseeing site-enabling works and contamination remediation, along with materials management and verification to minimise waste.
Civil engineering
Designing the spine road and drainage infrastructure to enable site-wide development.
Adding value
We used state-of-the-art Surfer software to produce detailed plot visualisations, giving the client a clear understanding of the completed plateauing works.
We’ve worked closely with the client from an early stage, providing guidance and reassurance. Based just a short walk from the site, we’ve been able to keep track of daily progress on what is a fantastic, nationally important regeneration project.
