Rodgers Leask was appointed by our client Godwin Developments for their proposed City Centre development adjacent to the River Derwent.
The new 17 storey steel framed structure which would be the City’s tallest residential building to date will comprise 201 apartments over commercial units and amenities including a gym, concierge and residents lounge.
Rodgers Leask has carried out a full Site Investigation comprising Phase 1 Desk Study and Phase 2 intrusive works in order to inform Site reclamation, foundation designs etc.
Following a scoping exercise with Derby City Council, Rodgers Leask has prepared a Transport Assessment, Travel Plan, Site Access Designs, and internal layout tracking.
Flood Risk Assessment and Drainage Strategy
Rodgers Leask has prepared a Flood Risk Assessment and Drainage Strategy to ensure that the site will be adequately protected against flooding and that surface water and foul drainage will be adequately provided for.
The Flood Risk Assessment accounts for the adjacent River Derwent flood levels and included recommendations for Flood Defence requirements following liaison with Derby City Council planners and engineers.
Structural and Civil Engineering
