Civil, structural and environmental engineering services to a development covering an area of approximately 322 hectares(ha) and comprising 4,250 homes, a strategic employment park, two primary and one secondary school, mixed-use district centres including retail units, health, leisure and community centres, 75 acres of new woodland, 250 acres of open space and park land and associated infrastructure and highway works.
Involved from planning stage, Rodgers Leask was appointed to develop the infrastructure highway and drainage strategy for masterplanning and to provide detailed designs for the on-site infrastructure highways, drainage and SuDS, whilst all Ground Investigation works for Phase One of the development were completed by Rodgers Leask Environmental.
Rodgers Leask worked closely with all stakeholders to establish site constraints and develop a comprehensive SuDS strategy that consequently received sign off from LLFA.
Primary Infrastructure, including over 4km of roads and drainage and the first residential land parcels are nearing completion. The new link road into the development officially opened Summer 2017. First Primary School is in design phase with construction due to commence in Spring 2018.
Rodgers Leask was appointed in Autumn 2017 to deliver civils engineering design to the next phase of the development, a district centre and 23Ha residential development.
