An exciting placement opportunity has arisen within our Civils team for a university student aspiring to take their first step towards a career in Civil engineering.
Working closely with experienced senior engineers, the successful applicant will experience a broad range of projects to develop their Civil engineering skills on projects from concept through to completion, preparing calculations, specifications, drawings and reports.
As a student engineer undertaking a Civil engineering degree qualification, you will be expected to have excellent organisational, oral and written communication skills. A positive ‘can do’ attitude to problem solving coupled with the ability to work within a team environment or independently using your own initiative is essential.
Candidates will be expected to be proficient with MS office applications and a basic knowledge of AutoCAD would be advantageous but not essential.
The successful applicant will be based in our Derby office.
All candidates must hold a full driving license and be eligible to live and work in the UK.
