Department: Structural Engineering
Main duties and responsibilities
Project management of multidisciplinary engineering design team
Training of junior staff
Undertaking detailed design work in all materials
Checking and approval of design calculations and drawings
Writing of engineering reports and calculation packs
Attendance at site and client meetings
Client Key Account Manager
Comply with company H & S standards at all times
Other duties and responsibilities commensurate with experience.
Engineer level – accredited BEng in Civil Engineering or similar
Membership of a Professional body such as IStructE or MICE is preferable
Excellent numeracy, general mathematics skills are essential
Use of Revit, AutoCAD, TEDDS, Tekla Structures would be beneficial
Good organisation, communication and presentation skills are essential
