New Associate joins our Derby HQ

We are pleased to announce Matt Leask has rejoined us as an associate at our Derby headquarters, expanding our civil engineering expertise.

Matt will be involved with the design of projects across the East Midlands (and beyond) and the delivery of the Derby office’s ambitious growth plans. He first joined us more than ten years ago as a project engineer and rose through the ranks to become a principal engineer before gaining experience elsewhere and returning.

Matt said: “Rodgers Leask is a consultancy that has an enviable foundation and presence in the civil engineering industry. Rejoining this experienced and ambitious team comes easily and I’m more than ready to utilise my expertise at such a busy time, both in the industry and across our offices throughout the country, to expand our client base even further.

“Helping to raise the profile of our residential offering is a particular priority of mine, as we all know the importance of delivering houses for the economy and for our communities. I look forward to building on the incredible work the team has already done in this area.

“Rodgers Leask has many senior experts, but also a motivated team of junior staff. Mentoring the junior team members, honing their skills and supporting their personal development is something that I’m happy to take part in. Within the Derby team, there is an abundance of ambition to grow our client base, our team and our industry presence. I’m excited to not only tap into that ambition but add to it.”

Our new Associate is a chartered civil engineer with more than 20 years’ experience working in both the private and public sectors in regional infrastructure, civil engineering design, and the highways industry.
