National awards success for Rodgers Leask

We are delighted to have scooped one of the prestigious Brownfield Briefing Awards at their 2019 awards ceremony.
At the annual gala dinner and awards ceremony held last night, Rodgers Leask collected the award for the Best Urban Regeneration Project for its work at the former Goodyear Tyre factory works, Wolverhampton for client St Modwen Developments.
The project in Wolverhampton was the largest ever remediation project undertaken in the city’s history. The 100-acre former Goodyear factory was a challenging site nestled within residential streets of Wolverhampton; works were sympathetically and systematically phased to have minimal impact on the surrounding community, seamlessly creating a thriving multi-use centre for the inhabitants and with a tangible link to the industrial past.
The 2019 award also marks a happy hat-trick for Rodgers Leask, marking the third successive year that the company has won an award at these national awards. Now in its 15th year, the Brownfield Briefing Awards celebrates excellence in engineering and innovation, contaminated land and sustainability in the remediation sector.
