19.09.18
We are delighted to see that our ongoing project at New Lubbesthorpe is up for an award.
The development is one of the three finalists announced for the Infrastructure Project of the Year Award at the 2018 ProCon Leicestershire Awards.
New Lubbesthorpe is a Sustainable Urban Extension in Northwest Leicestershire which covers an area of approximately 322 hectares. It will feature 4,250 homes, a strategic employment park, two primary and one secondary school, mixed-use district centres including retail units, health, leisure and community centres, 75 acres of new woodland, 250 acres of open space and park land and associated infrastructure and highway works.
Rodgers Leask has been involved with the project from planning stage and we have been providing civil, structural and environmental engineering services throughout, including infrastructure highway, drainage and SuDs strategies, detailed design and ground investigation works.
Primary infrastructure including over 4km of roads and drainage plus the first residential land parcels are completed with construction of the first primary school in progress, with the 23Ha Phase 2 site underway to create a district centre and further residential developments.
The winner of the Infrastructure Project of the Year will be announced at the ProCon Awards Celebration Dinner in Leicester on 15 November.
