Rodgers Leask was delighted to be part of the St Modwen led development team who collected the RICS National Award for the Best Regeneration and Infrastructure Project 2015.
The Longbridge Redevelopment Project in Birmingham came out as the national winner against a tough shortlist, with the award being presented at the RICS National Awards Luncheon at The Dorchester in front of 400 guests on Friday 16 October 2015.
Rodgers Leask has been a key member of the development team providing Land Development, Geo-environmental, Geotechnical, Structural, Civils and Infrastructure Design services.
After receiving the award, the client said:
“We realise it’s not just about us (St Modwen) but also having a bunch of people working with us through both the good and bad times to achieve this.
“Phase 1 really encapsulates all the work we have had to do to get buildings even out of the ground and it has given us the momentum that is happening today and hopefully will continue in the years ahead.”
Rodgers Leask continues its work with St Modwen on the ongoing Longbridge regeneration project. Another section of Phase 1 of the Town Centre Scheme nears completion in early November with the opening of a new 150,000sq ft Marks & Spencer store.
